Ching He Huang, an International Emmy nominated TV chef & cookery author, known as the Queen of Chinese cuisine, talks about her childhood in Taiwan and South Africa and about her journey to become a Celebrity Chef. Ching went through many difficulties and started working when she was only 15, but at the end she succeeded due to her strong will, her hard work and her desire to help her family and to find her way.
Many of Ching’s shows are broadcast around the world. Her own fronted series include: Ching’s Kitchen, Chinese Food Made Easy, Chinese Food in Minutes, Exploring China, The Big Eat and Ching’s Amazing Asia. Ching has also hosted several episodes of Saturday Kitchen Live BBC1, Easy Chinese: San Francisco, Easy Chinese: New York & L.A. (for which she received a Daytime Emmy Award Nomination) and Easy Chinese: New Year Special. More recently she presented two series of Restaurant Redemption and Eat the Nation. Her U.S. appearances include The Today Show (NBC), Rachael Ray Show (CBS), Iron Chef America (Food Network) both as a contestant and judge.
Ching has published nine best-selling cookbooks to date including Wok On, Stir Crazy, Eat Clean: Wok Yourself to Health, Exploring China, Ching’s Fast Food, Everyday Easy Chinese, Ching’s Chinese Food in Minutes, Chinese Food Made Easy and China Modern.
